This blog will hopefully chronicle our quest for recognition of our marriage by my employer, the state, and the nation. For a peek into my life other than this lawsuit, check out my personal blog at http://milindoe.blogspot.com

Update
Well, we received a packet on Saturday from the Executive Board of the Union. It seems that the union has reached a tentative agreement with my employer. They have included domestic partners in any area where a spouse would receive something. At this point, the temptation to "take the money and run" is there, just so we can sink back into anonymity. However, as I expressed to the lawyer, just as quickly as domestic partner benefits can be written into our contract, they can be written back out. Best to seek recognition of the marriage, in the long run. I've forwarded information to the attorney and he's forwarded it on to the Legal Committee at the ACLU. We'll wait and see what they say.
