(Ottawa) The Conservatives have offered to let the federal government quickly pass a $4.6-billion budget bill in exchange for a delay in same-sex marriage legislation.
The Tories are willing to pull back their opposition to an NDP-inspired budget amendment, House Leader Jay Hill said Wednesday.
But there's a catch: they don't want to see a vote on the same-sex marriage bill until the fall.
